La Storia
A 17th-century home.
Located in the historic district of Cammarata, where life still moves to the rhythm of church bells. In the streets, local farmers sell fresh eggs and vegetables straight from their three-wheeled trucks.
91 countries visited (and counting) — we’ve created the kind of space we always enjoy on our journeys.
The “Stone House” dates to the 1600s, rebuilt as a two story in the 1830s with a significant expansion in the 1880s. We spent two years doing a complete renovation — floors, walls, plumbing, electrical — environmentally friendly, featuring photovoltaic panels with battery backup, well-insulated windows and doors, energy-efficient lighting, and A+++ climate control units.
